{"id":4273,"date":"2017-06-13T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-06-13T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/news\/metro-de-londres-de-farringdon\/"},"modified":"2022-12-21T09:32:06","modified_gmt":"2022-12-21T08:32:06","slug":"metro-de-londres-de-farringdon","status":"publish","type":"new","link":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/es\/noticias\/metro-de-londres-de-farringdon\/","title":{"rendered":"BFK instala una ic\u00f3nica cubierta en la estaci\u00f3n Farringdon de Londres"},"content":{"rendered":"    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p>Imagen cedida por <a title=\"Crossrail Limited\" href=\"http:\/\/www.crossrail.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"> Crossrail Limited<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>La <a title=\"BAM Ferrovial Kier JV- Crossrail - Linkedin\" href=\"http:\/\/es.linkedin.com\/company\/bam-ferrovial-kier-jv--crossrail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">UTE <\/a>formada por Ferrovial Agroman con BAM y Kier (BFK) ha completado los trabajos en las impresionantes cubiertas arquitect\u00f3nicas de la estaci\u00f3n del metro de Londres, Farringdon, en la Elizabeth Line.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>El dise\u00f1o de la cubierta del \u00c1bside Superior forma parte de la visi\u00f3n de Crossrail, que pretende conmemorar la historia local de la estaci\u00f3n del metro de Londres de\u00a0<a title=\"Estaci\u00f3n de Farringdon - Ferrovial\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\">Farringdon<\/a>, a trav\u00e9s de los rasgos arquitect\u00f3nicos de sus nuevos vest\u00edbulos. Se trata de <strong>una gran cubierta inclinada<\/strong>, a 20 grados sobre la horizontal, formada por <strong>425 toneladas<\/strong> de segmentos de hormig\u00f3n preformados. Estos segmentos se unen para formar un modelo con forma de diamante, inspirado por la cercana comunidad de joyer\u00edas de <em><a title=\"Hatton Gardens\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hatton-garden.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Hatton Gardens.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>El dise\u00f1o de obra temporal empleado para la instalaci\u00f3n de la cubierta tuvo que superar varios desaf\u00edos, entre los que destaca la necesidad de dar soporte adicional a dos cerchas de <strong>71 toneladas de peso<\/strong> para el armaz\u00f3n provisional, las cargas desequilibradas provocadas por <strong>una geometr\u00eda de vigas preformadas<\/strong> inclinadas sobre el plano y la exigencia de que el dise\u00f1o de la obra permitiese llevar a cabo trabajos simult\u00e1neamente en las zonas adyacentes.<\/p>\n<p>El llamativo car\u00e1cter de la obra, y su cercan\u00eda a una estaci\u00f3n\u00a0<a title=\"Network Rail - Ferrovial\" href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/es\/galeria_fotos\/ferrovial-network-rail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\"><em>Network Rail<\/em> <\/a>en funcionamiento, hicieron que la estrecha colaboraci\u00f3n entre el cliente, <em><a title=\"London Underground\" href=\"https:\/\/tfl.gov.uk\/modes\/tube\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">London Underground<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>(metro de Londres)<em>\u00a0<\/em>y <em>Network Rail<\/em> cobrase una gran importancia, que acentu\u00f3 la necesidad de unas comunicaciones claras y congruentes a lo largo de todas las etapas de dise\u00f1o e instalaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Duarte de Seixas, Director de la Secci\u00f3n, destac\u00f3 que esta obra ha sido:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00abun ejemplo de simbiosis perfecta entre arquitectura e ingenier\u00eda\u00bb, y destac\u00f3 que estaba orgulloso de que BFK hubiera sido capaz de hacer realidad la visi\u00f3n perseguida: \u00abEs indudable que esta impresionante ejecuci\u00f3n dejar\u00e1 tras de s\u00ed un valioso legado\u00bb,<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>La instalaci\u00f3n de estas obras ha sido captada por la BBC y ser\u00e1 emitida por BBC2 en la serie \u00ab<a title=\"Una estaci\u00f3n de 15.000 milliones de libras, Ferrovial - BBC\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/b04b7h1w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\">Una estaci\u00f3n de 15.000 millones de libras<\/a> &#8211; Temporada 2&#8243;, en fecha pendiente de confirmaci\u00f3n.
