En lo que respecta al transporte de carga, \u00e9ste aumenta a\u00fan con m\u00e1s fuerza, reportando un incremento de dos cifras, llegando a alcanzar un \u00a0<strong>10,5%<\/strong>, lo que representa <strong>1,25 millones de toneladas<\/strong> en los \u00faltimos 9 meses.<\/p>\n<p>Una mayor demanda por parte de los pasajeros y las mejoras introducidas para un mejor control de costes, han dado como resultado unos beneficios del <strong>3,2%<\/strong>, un total de<strong> 2.161 millones de libras<\/strong>. El Ebitda aumenta un<strong> 5,7%<\/strong>,\u00a0 alcanzando los <strong>1.347 millones de libras<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Heathrow continua esforz\u00e1ndose por ofrecer una buena experiencia a todos los pasajeros que pasan por sus terminales, as\u00ed lo demuestra la puntuaci\u00f3n obtenida en la encuesta de calidad del servicio en la que consigui\u00f3 un resultado de <strong>4,14 sobre 5<\/strong> en el tercer trimestre del a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Creaci\u00f3n de empleo<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Por otra parte, m\u00e1s de <strong>120 localidades<\/strong> a lo largo del Reino Unido han presentado una oferta para convertirse en hubs de log\u00edstica de Heathrow y apoyarles en su proceso de expansi\u00f3n. El objetivo del aeropuerto es buscar proveedores con instalaciones m\u00e1s asequibles y sostenibles, y al mismo tiempo, impulsar<strong> la creaci\u00f3n de empleo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Sobre la expansi\u00f3n del aeropuerto<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Los planes de expansi\u00f3n progresan favorablemente, el Gobierno ha confirmado una votaci\u00f3n parlamentaria para finales de junio de 2018 y Heathrow ya ha respondido a la consulta de la CAA sobre el marco regulatorio que acompa\u00f1a a la expansi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan John Holland-Kaye, CEO de Heathrow<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00abHeathrow se ha convertido en un activo cr\u00edtico a nivel nacional como demuestra el buen rendimiento del aeropuerto durante el verano, en el que se ha conseguido alcanzar un n\u00famero r\u00e9cord de visitantes un crecimiento de dos d\u00edgitos en las exportaciones, un s\u00f3lido respaldo de los inversores mundiales y se ha mejorado el servicio a los pasajeros\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>y a\u00f1ade que<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cla expansi\u00f3n de Heathrow no es una elecci\u00f3n entre econom\u00eda o medioambiente, es algo que debe funcionar en ambos aspectos. Tras el Brexit, la expansi\u00f3n conectar\u00e1 nuestro pa\u00eds con los mercados en desarrollo y contar con un plan firme de compromisos medioambientales nos ayudar\u00e1 a expandirnos de manera responsable, algo en lo que seguimos trabajando\u00bb.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><strong>Aumento de pasajeros en el Aeropuerto de Glasgow<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Por su parte, el aeropuerto de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/es\/proyectos\/aeropuerto-de-glasgow\/\" target=\"_blank\">Glasgow<\/a>, ha registrado el septiembre con mayor n\u00famero de pasajeros de su historia, dando servicio a m\u00e1s de<strong> 972.000<\/strong> pasajeros, lo que supone un <strong>4,1%<\/strong> m\u00e1s que el a\u00f1o pasado.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
