Amey<\/a>, filial inglesa de Ferrovial Servicios<\/a>, ha conseguido el contrato de sustituci\u00f3n de iluminaci\u00f3n urbana<\/strong> de la ciudad de Manchester<\/strong> durante los pr\u00f3ximos 3 a\u00f1os. La compa\u00f1\u00eda cambiar\u00e1 el alumbrado tradicional e instalar\u00e1 56.000 nuevas farolas<\/strong> equipadas con tecnolog\u00eda LED de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Esta sustituci\u00f3n permitir\u00e1 al Ayuntamiento de Manchester ahorrarse 2,25 millones de euros<\/strong> cada curso y recortar\u00e1 las emisiones de CO2<\/strong> en 70.000 toneladas<\/strong> por a\u00f1o, ayudando a conseguir los objetivos marcados por el municipio en su compromiso de reducci\u00f3n de emisiones. \u00a0Adem\u00e1s del ahorro energ\u00e9tico, la nueva tecnolog\u00eda LED proporcionar\u00e1 a las calles de Manchester una iluminaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s clara y de mayor calidad<\/strong>, mejorando la visibilidad de los peatones y conductores, contribuyendo a la mejora de la seguridad de los ciudadanos de la ciudad.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s de la introducci\u00f3n de la tecnolog\u00eda LED, Amey instalar\u00e1 un sistema de control remoto que permitir\u00e1 al Ayuntamiento mejorar el mantenimiento de las instalaciones e instalar aplicaciones inteligentes en un futuro. El sistema de control remoto <\/strong>permite ajustar la iluminaci\u00f3n a las necesidades del Consistorio. Por ejemplo, se puede aumentar la intensidad del alumbrado para ayudar a la dispersi\u00f3n de los asistentes a grandes eventos.<\/p>\n

Amey ha instalado m\u00e1s de 200.000 puntos de iluminaci\u00f3n<\/strong> con tecnolog\u00eda LED a lo largo de todo el Reino Unido, lo que la convierte en la compa\u00f1\u00eda l\u00edder en este campo. Manchester se suma a otras ciudades como Sheffield<\/strong> o Birmingham<\/strong> que ya disfrutan de esta tecnolog\u00eda en sus calles.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
