{"id":4596,"date":"2018-01-09T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-01-09T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/news\/heathrow-aeropuerto-con-mejor-seguridad\/"},"modified":"2022-12-21T09:22:36","modified_gmt":"2022-12-21T08:22:36","slug":"heathrow-aeropuerto-con-mejor-seguridad","status":"publish","type":"new","link":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/es\/noticias\/heathrow-aeropuerto-con-mejor-seguridad\/","title":{"rendered":"Heathrow, nombrado Mejor Aeropuerto del Mundo en Materia de Seguridad por \u2018International Airport Review\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p><a title=\"Heathrow - Ferrovial\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/es\/proyectos\/aeropuerto-de-heathrow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Heathrow<\/a> ha sido nombrado <strong>Mejor Aeropuerto del Mundo<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>en la Gesti\u00f3n de la Seguridad<\/strong> por parte de la publicaci\u00f3n <a href=\"https:\/\/www.internationalairportreview.com\/ title=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">International Airport Review<\/a>,\u00a0que reconocer\u00e1n anualmente la excelencia en la industria aeroportuaria.<\/p>\n<p>El jurado de los premios de esta primera edici\u00f3n, formado por un panel de expertos independientes del sector, consider\u00f3 que Heathrow ha logrado &#8211; a lo largo de los dos \u00faltimos a\u00f1os &#8211;\u00a0una combinaci\u00f3n de <strong>factores humanos<\/strong> y <strong>soluciones tecnol\u00f3gicas<\/strong> altamente efectiva creada en favor de mejorar el flujo de pasajeros y su seguridad cuando est\u00e1n en el aeropuerto.<\/p>\n<p>Con este objetivo, el hub incorpor\u00f3 nuevos equipos y mejor\u00f3 instalaciones y sistemas, gracias a los que se ha conseguido hacer disminuir en un 70% los chequeos manuales, lo que, adem\u00e1s de repercutir directamente en una mejora en los tiempos de espera, ha aportado mayor minuciosidad a este tipo de procesos.<\/p>\n<p>Heathrow implement\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n cambios organizativos en el personal de seguridad, incrementado la autonom\u00eda y responsabilidades de sus gerentes a cargo de este \u00e1mbito, as\u00ed como promoviendo un nuevo presupuesto para reconocer y recompensar a los miembros del equipo. Asimismo, el aeropuerto aument\u00f3 la plantilla de este departamento, <strong>contratando a 300 personas m\u00e1s<\/strong>, promocionando a 87 y concediendo programas de pr\u00e1cticas a otros 90.<\/p>\n<p>En palabras de Tom Willis, director de seguridad del hub:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cEstamos orgullosos de haber sido reconocidos con este premio, que lleva el nombre de todos los compa\u00f1eros que forman el \u00e1rea de seguridad de Heathrow, que han realizado un gran esfuerzo por mantener durante todo el a\u00f1o a un n\u00famero r\u00e9cord de pasajeros seguros sin dejar de ofrecer un servicio al cliente excelente\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Los International Airport Awards recibieron m\u00e1s de <strong>130\u00a0candidaturas<\/strong> para las nueve categor\u00edas existentes, que se sometieron a los m\u00e1s de <strong>77.000 votos<\/strong> que recibi\u00f3 la organizaci\u00f3n por parte de la comunidad aeroportuaria global. De estas 130, se <strong>preseleccionaron \u00fanicamente 27<\/strong> \u2013tres para cada categor\u00eda\u2212 que fueron analizadas por los miembros del jurado, en cuyas manos qued\u00f3 la
