{"id":4804,"date":"2018-05-21T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-05-21T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/news\/t5-heathrow-10o-aniversario\/"},"modified":"2023-05-03T09:34:53","modified_gmt":"2023-05-03T07:34:53","slug":"t5-heathrow-10o-aniversario","status":"publish","type":"new","link":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/es\/noticias\/t5-heathrow-10o-aniversario\/","title":{"rendered":"La T5 de Heathrow conmemora con estilo su 10\u00ba aniversario"},"content":{"rendered":"    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p>Las celebraciones tuvieron lugar recientemente en la T5 de <a title=\"Sobre Heathrow - Ferrovial\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/es\/proyectos\/aeropuerto-de-heathrow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Heathrow<\/a> con motivo del d\u00e9cimo aniversario del momento en el que la terminal empezase a prestar sus servicios. La terminal, que Skytrax calific\u00f3 como <strong>la mejor terminal del mundo durante cinco a\u00f1os consecutivos<\/strong> (del 2012 al 2016 inclusive), recibi\u00f3 la visita de S.A.R. el Pr\u00edncipe de Gales en la se\u00f1alada fecha conmemorativa del 14 de marzo.<\/p>\n<p>La terminal\u00a0ha visto transitar a <strong>227 millones de pasajero<\/strong>s a trav\u00e9s de sus puertas en los \u00faltimos diez a\u00f1os, lo cual asciende a unos <strong>969.000 vuelos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Para conmemorar la ocasi\u00f3n, el Pr\u00edncipe de Gales se reuni\u00f3 con algunos miembros del equipo de la T5 para tomar un aperitivo a bordo de un British Airways 787, al tiempo que se les ofrec\u00eda a otros trabajadores que transitaban por la terminal una tarta tem\u00e1tica decorada para la ocasi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En su d\u00eda, la terminal fue inaugurada por la Reina de Inglaterra. En esta ocasi\u00f3n, S.A.R. el Pr\u00edncipe de Gales a\u00f1adi\u00f3 un destello de realeza a esta celebraci\u00f3n pase\u00e1ndose por la terminal agradeciendo a algunos de los empleados encargados de mantener el aeropuerto seguro.<\/p>\n<p>Otras actividades para celebrar la fecha del aniversario incluyeron una edici\u00f3n exclusiva de alfileres conmemorativos de la T5, as\u00ed como un desaf\u00edo <em>Skywire<\/em> que retaba al personal a caminar sobre una cuerda floja suspendida a una altura de 30 metros en los aleda\u00f1os de la T5. El desaf\u00edo se organiz\u00f3 para anunciar la nueva asociaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica de Heathrow con el Premio Duque de Edimburgo (DofE) al tiempo que se intentaba recaudar <strong>\u00a310.000 libras para el socio ben\u00e9fico del aeropuerto<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Los pasajeros que transitaban por la terminal fueron recibidos con m\u00fasica en vivo interpretada por la banda iPhonics. A los pasajeros tambi\u00e9n se les tent\u00f3 con delicias gastron\u00f3micas y descuentos en el duty free. Adem\u00e1s, se propuso a ni\u00f1os y a j\u00f3venes (de esp\u00edritu) que colaborasen para construir el logotipo del 10\u00ba aniversario de la T5 con piezas de Lego.<\/p>\n<p>La inversi\u00f3n de Ferrovial Airports desde 2007 ha contribuido a que Heathrow se convierta en uno de los 10 mejores aeropuertos del mundo. La Terminal 5 se encuentra ahora en la 4\u00aa posici\u00f3n en la lista de las mejores terminales del mundo, mientras que la T2, otra de las terminales de Heathrow, <a title=\"T2 Mejor Terminal del
