La colaboraci\u00f3n con la prestigiosa instituci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica se descompone en dos programas dedicados a la Iniciativa de Energ\u00eda del MIT (MITEI) y al Enlace Industrial del MIT (ILP). De esta forma, Ferrovial refuerza su apuesta por la investigaci\u00f3n y los proyectos de innovaci\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica con el objetivo de transformar las ciudades y desarrollar las infraestructuras del futuro. Estos objetivos, recogidos en el Plan Horizon 24 de Ferrovial, persiguen ofrecer soluciones de infraestructuras de transporte y movilidad innovadoras y sostenibles.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abLa colaboraci\u00f3n entre Ferrovial y el MITEI se ha materializado en 25 proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n del desarrollo y la gesti\u00f3n de infraestructuras sostenibles, incluyendo el agua, la sostenibilidad, la movilidad, la ingenier\u00eda y la digitalizaci\u00f3n\u00bb, ha afirmado Dimitris Bountolos, director general de Sistemas de Informaci\u00f3n e Innovaci\u00f3n de Ferrovial. \u00abEn los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os ha habido una mayor demanda de colaboraci\u00f3n en aspectos como la movilidad y los datos\u00bb.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 1920px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><!--[if lt IE 9]><script>document.createElement('video');<\/script><![endif]-->\n<video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-101981-1\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" poster=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2021\/04\/captura.jpg\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2021\/04\/dimitris-bountolos-ferrovial-esp.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2021\/04\/dimitris-bountolos-ferrovial-esp.mp4\">https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2021\/04\/dimitris-bountolos-ferrovial-esp.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00abEstamos encantados de que Ferrovial siga apoyando el trabajo innovador de la comunidad de investigaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda del MIT como socio del MITEI\u00bb, ha se\u00f1alado Robert Armstrong, director de la Iniciativa de Energ\u00eda del MIT.<\/p>\n<p>En los pr\u00f3ximos cinco a\u00f1os Ferrovial invertir\u00e1 5 millones de d\u00f3lares para apoyar la investigaci\u00f3n sobre energ\u00edas limpias e infraestructuras sostenibles en el MIT. La empresa se convirti\u00f3 en miembro del ILP por primera vez en 2007, y del MITEI en 2011. La colaboraci\u00f3n con el MITEI ha dado lugar a proyectos en distintas \u00e1reas como las tecnolog\u00edas relacionadas con la energ\u00eda para la construcci\u00f3n, la automatizaci\u00f3n de software para identificar oportunidades de servicios energ\u00e9ticos, los usos de los subproductos de la desalinizaci\u00f3n del agua de mar o la movilidad urbana sostenible, entre otros.<\/p>\n<p>Ferrovial tambi\u00e9n seguir\u00e1 siendo miembro del Centro de Sistemas de Movilidad del MITEI, que contin\u00faa la investigaci\u00f3n multidisciplinar iniciada en el marco del Estudio de Movilidad del Futuro. La participaci\u00f3n de la compa\u00f1\u00eda en el consorcio de miembros del estudio ayud\u00f3 a avanzar en la comprensi\u00f3n de los diferentes factores que est\u00e1n dando forma a la movilidad personal en diferentes escalas, desde los mercados globales y nacionales hasta las pol\u00edticas y las opciones de movilidad a nivel de ciudad y de individuo. El informe del estudio, \u201cInsights into Future Mobility\u201d, se public\u00f3 en 2019 y ha sido un recurso para los grupos de inter\u00e9s de la industria y la administraci\u00f3n p\u00fablica al afrontar los retos y las oportunidades del futuro.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abValoramos profundamente las perspectivas de la industria que nuestros miembros del ILP de todo el mundo aportan a la comunidad del MIT\u00bb, ha indicado Karl Koster, director ejecutivo de la Oficina de Relaciones Corporativas del MIT. \u00abCreemos que las perspectivas ayudan a impulsar la aplicaci\u00f3n en el mundo real de las
