La Autoridad de Autopistas del Norte de Texas (NTTA) ha seleccionado a la compa\u00f1\u00eda para que lleve a cabo el contrato, valorado en <strong>127 millones de d\u00f3lares<\/strong> (equivalentes a unos 119 millones de euros).<\/p>\n<p>Con una duraci\u00f3n estimada de 40 meses, est\u00e1 previsto que la obra comience a ejecutarse en <strong>septiembre<\/strong>. Se aumentar\u00e1 la capacidad de la autopista, aliviando de esta forma la congesti\u00f3n que se produce en el norte de Dallas y mejorando las conexiones con los condados de Collin, Denton y Grayson.<\/p>\n<p>En el marco del proyecto, la filial de Webber ampliar\u00e1 la carretera de peaje existente, pasando de <strong>tres a cuatros carriles<\/strong> en cada uno de los sentidos. El proyecto incluye ensanchar la estructura de <strong>22 puentes<\/strong>, adem\u00e1s de la reforma de <strong>pasos elevados<\/strong> y la construcci\u00f3n de<strong> nuevas rampas<\/strong>. Tambi\u00e9n se mejorar\u00e1 la iluminaci\u00f3n de seguridad y se sustituir\u00e1n las se\u00f1ales a lo largo del corredor.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Webber: M\u00e1s de 50 proyectos<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Con este contrato, Webber trabaja ya en <strong>51 proyectos<\/strong> en Texas, Georgia, Virginia y Carolina del Norte. La filial estadounidense de Ferrovial anunci\u00f3 recientemente la adjudicaci\u00f3n de la construcci\u00f3n de un tramo de aproximadamente 5 kil\u00f3metros de la <strong>autopista I-74 por 262millones de d\u00f3lares<\/strong> (equivalentes a m\u00e1s de 230 millones de euros). Tambi\u00e9n ha sido seleccionada para la construcci\u00f3n de <strong>dos carreteras<\/strong> en Texas por <strong>161millones de d\u00f3lares<\/strong> (equivalentes a unos 142 millones de euros) en los condados de Guadalupe y Hays. Adem\u00e1s, participa, junto con Ferrovial Construcci\u00f3n, en el proyecto de la<strong> I-35 en San Antonio por 1.500 millones de d\u00f3lares<\/strong> (equivalentes a unos 1.273 millones de
