Ambos proyectos supondr\u00e1n una <strong>mejora significativa de las infraestructuras de agua existentes en Austin y Fort Worth<\/strong>, dos ciudades con gran potencial de crecimiento.<\/p>\n<p><strong>En Austin<\/strong>, Ferrovial construir\u00e1 una <strong>estaci\u00f3n de bombeo de 32 metros de profundidad<\/strong> con cuatro bombas de voluta de hormig\u00f3n, en el marco del proyecto I-35 Capital Express Central del Departamento de Transporte de Texas. Esta instalaci\u00f3n <strong>tomar\u00e1 aguas pluviales de los t\u00faneles de drenaje a lo largo del corredor para controlar las inundaciones<\/strong>, con una capacidad total de bombeo cercana a un mill\u00f3n de litros por minuto. Las obras de este proyecto, valorado en 426 millones de d\u00f3lares, comenzaron el pasado mes de julio y est\u00e1 previsto que finalicen a finales de 2028.<\/p>\n<p><strong>En Fort Worth<\/strong>, el proyecto de ampliaci\u00f3n de la planta de tratamiento de agua Eagle Mountain <strong>aumentar\u00e1 la capacidad de la instalaci\u00f3n existente en unos 132,5 millones de litros de agua potable al d\u00eda<\/strong>. El alcance de este contrato, de 295 millones de d\u00f3lares, incluye la construcci\u00f3n de sistemas de generaci\u00f3n de ozono y desinfecci\u00f3n, dep\u00f3sitos de floculaci\u00f3n y sedimentaci\u00f3n, filtros biol\u00f3gicos de material granular y una instalaci\u00f3n de filtraci\u00f3n por membranas. El r\u00e1pido crecimiento de Fort Worth ha provocado un aumento en la demanda de agua, lo que ha hecho necesario un proyecto de esta envergadura para satisfacer las necesidades locales futuras. Se espera que las obras, ya iniciadas, finalicen en 2029.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
