(antes BAA Ltd.), ha alcanzado un acuerdo con Stable Investment Corporation (\u0093Stable\u0094), filial de CIC International Co., Ltd. para la transmisi\u00f3n de una participaci\u00f3n del 5,72% de FGP Topco Ltd., sociedad cabecera de Heathrow Airport Holdings Ltd., por un precio de 257,4 millones de libras, que representan unos 319,3 millones de euros.<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo, en el marco de la misma operaci\u00f3n y al mismo precio por acci\u00f3n, Stable ha adquirido participaciones de otros accionistas de FGP Topco Ltd. por 192,6 millones de libras, equivalente a 238,9 millones de euros. Tras el cierre, Stable tendr\u00e1 un 10% de Heathrow Airport Holdings Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>La participaci\u00f3n indirecta de Ferrovial en Heathrow Airport Holdings Ltd. se reducir\u00e1 hasta el 39,37% como resultado de la venta anunciada el 17 de agosto de 2012 a Qatar Holdings, condicionada a la aprobaci\u00f3n de las autoridades europeas de competencia y cuyo cierre est\u00e1 previsto antes de que finalice 2012. La participaci\u00f3n indirecta de Ferrovial se reducir\u00e1 a un 33,65% como resultado de esta operaci\u00f3n. La transacci\u00f3n con Stable no est\u00e1 sujeta a condiciones y su cierre se ha producido en el d\u00eda de hoy, el 31 de octubre de 2012. Tras ello, Ferrovial posee un 44,27% de Heathrow Airport Holdings Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>Stable formar\u00e1 parte de los consejos de FGP Topco Ltd. y Heathrow Airport Holdings Ltd. Britannia Airport Partners LP, GIC y Alinda seguir\u00e1n siendo socios de FGP Topco Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>\u0093La venta de la participaci\u00f3n en Heathrow Airport Holdings Ltd. es parte de nuestra estrategia de diversificaci\u00f3n de la inversi\u00f3n. Tras este acuerdo, reiteramos nuestro papel como socio industrial en Heathrow Airport Holdings Ltd. Como ya declaramos anteriormente, continuaremos trabajando con los nuevos accionistas y con los existentes para asegurar que Heathrow Airport Holdings Ltd. se mantiene como uno de los mejores activos de infraestructuras del mundo\u0094, ha se\u00f1alado \u00cd\u00f1igo Meir\u00e1s, consejero delegado de Ferrovial.<\/p>\n<p>Para Ferrovial, los fondos resultantes de la operaci\u00f3n fortalecen a\u00fan m\u00e1s su posici\u00f3n de liquidez y su flexibilidad financiera.<\/p>\n<p>Un consorcio integrado por Ferrovial en junio de 2006 adquiri\u00f3 BAA Ltd., ahora denominada Heathrow Airport Holdings Ltd. Heathrow Airport Holdings Ltd. es propietaria de los aeropuertos de Heathrow y Stansted, en Londres; Glasgow y Aberdeen, en Escocia; y Southampton, en el sur de Inglaterra.
