{"id":878,"date":"2015-08-24T20:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-08-24T18:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/press_releases\/thames-tideway-tunnel-londres\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T23:29:43","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T21:29:43","slug":"thames-tideway-tunnel-londres","status":"publish","type":"press_release","link":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/es\/notas-prensa\/thames-tideway-tunnel-londres\/","title":{"rendered":"El consorcio de Ferrovial construir\u00e1 el tramo central del Thames Tideway Tunnel, en Londres, por 1.050 millones de euros"},"content":{"rendered":"    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p>El consorcio formado por Ferrovial Agroman y Laing O\u2019Rourke ha firmado el contrato para construir el tramo central del Thames Tideway Tunnel, nueva infraestructura del\u00a0 sistema de alcantarillado de Londres, por 746 millones de libras, m\u00e1s de 1.050 millones de euros, seg\u00fan ha anunciado hoy el cliente en Londres en una comunicaci\u00f3n oficial.<\/p>\n<p>El\u00a0 tramo se divide en dos secciones de 7,2 metros de di\u00e1metro, partiendo ambas de Kirtling Street.\u00a0 La primera, de 5 kil\u00f3metros de longitud, se dirige hacia el este hasta llegar a Carnwath Road, mientras la segunda, de 7,7 kil\u00f3metros, avanza hacia el oeste hasta finalizar en Chambers Wharf.\u00a0 Los 12,7 kil\u00f3metros que mide el tramo central lo convierten en el m\u00e1s largo del t\u00fanel, que tendr\u00e1 una longitud total de 25 kil\u00f3metros. El contrato incluye tambi\u00e9n la construcci\u00f3n de 8 pozos de entre 42 y 62 metros de profundidad, 6 t\u00faneles de conexi\u00f3n, alcantarillas, c\u00e1maras de interceptaci\u00f3n y de v\u00e1lvulas.<\/p>\n<p>La filial brit\u00e1nica de Ferrovial Servicios, Amey, en un contrato independiente, ser\u00e1 la encargada de la integraci\u00f3n del sistema inform\u00e1tico y de comunicaciones para la operaci\u00f3n, mantenimiento y control del proyecto.<\/p>\n<p>Thames Tideway Tunnel, con\u00a0 una inversi\u00f3n de 4.200 millones de libras, evitar\u00e1 el vertido de aguas residuales no tratadas en el r\u00edo T\u00e1mesis, frenando el desbordamiento que se produce actualmente en 34 puntos de la red de alcantarillado londinense. Ser\u00e1 clave en la modernizaci\u00f3n de la red de alcantarillado de Londres, que debe hacer frente a las demandas de la creciente poblaci\u00f3n de la capital brit\u00e1nica. El proyecto comenzar\u00e1 en 2016 y se espera que se complete en siete a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Este contrato se suma a los que Ferrovial Agroman est\u00e1 desarrollando en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os en las nuevas infraestructuras en Londres.\u00a0 La compa\u00f1\u00eda est\u00e1 teniendo\u00a0 una participaci\u00f3n destacada en el desarrollo de Crossrail, con la construcci\u00f3n de los t\u00faneles entre Royal Oak y Farringdon, las cavernas de las estaciones de Tottenham Court Road y Bond Street y la estaci\u00f3n de Farringdon. Tambi\u00e9n es adjudicataria de la ampliaci\u00f3n de la Northern Line del Metro de Londres y fue la encargada de construir la Queen\u2019s Terminal de Heathrow, inaugurada en verano de 2014 .<\/p>\n
