Ignacio Madridejos, nacido en Madrid en 1965, es ingeniero de Caminos, Canales y Puertos por la Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid<\/a> y MBA por Stanford Business School<\/a>. Ha desarrollado una dilatada carrera internacional en Estados Unidos, Europa, Am\u00e9rica Latina y \u00c1frica. Al finalizar sus estudios, se incorpor\u00f3 en 1990 como jefe de obra de edificaci\u00f3n a Agroman. A continuaci\u00f3n, en 1993, se sum\u00f3 a McKinsey como consultor en Espa\u00f1a y Argentina. En 1996 inici\u00f3 su carrera en CEMEX<\/a> donde ha ocupado distintos puestos de responsabilidad. Entre otros, ha sido CEO para Egipto, en 1999; presidente para Espa\u00f1a, en 2003; presidente regional para Norte de Europa, en 2008; Responsable global de Energ\u00eda, Seguridad y Sostenibilidad, en 2011, y presidente regional para Estados Unidos, en 2015.<\/p>\n

En paralelo, ha desempe\u00f1ado cargos en asociaciones del sector como el de presidente de Oficemen y presidente de CEMBUREAU (Asociaci\u00f3n del Cemento de Europa).<\/p>\n

\u201cIgnacio Madridejos se incorpora con una excelente formaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica y econ\u00f3mica y una exitosa carrera internacional, con una dilatada trayectoria en los Estados Unidos. Todo ello contribuir\u00e1 al desarrollo de Ferrovial, lo que resulta especialmente relevante en un momento de cambio en la compa\u00f1\u00eda\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Rafael del Pino, presidente de Ferrovial.\u00a0 \u201c\u00cd\u00f1igo Meir\u00e1s ha contribuido notablemente a la gesti\u00f3n de Ferrovial durante la pasada crisis financiera y al desarrollo internacional posterior\u201d, a\u00f1adi\u00f3.<\/p>\n
