Ferrovial lands 340 million pound waste water infrastructure management contract in Scotland

A consortium comprising Amey, a UK subsidiary of  Ferrovial Servicios, and Black & Veatch has been selected as preferred bidder to design, build and manage sewer infrastructure serving more than five million customers in Scotland. The 7-year contract is worth 340 million pounds sterling.

Ferrovial, through UK subsidiary Amey, in consortium with Black & Veatch, has been appointed preferred bidder by Scottish Water to deliver a range of waste water infrastructure management services until 2021. The contract is worth 340 million pounds (around 415 million euro).

As part of a broader investment programme to be implemented by Scottish Water over the next seven years, Amey and Black & Veatch will manage, design and build sewer infrastructure to serve the company’s more than five million customers across Scotland.

Amey and Black & Veatch have been working with Scottish Water for two decades, albeit separately until now, and this contract will further strengthen their relationship with the utility.
