Ferrovial has appointed Alastair Dick as Managing Director of Ferrovial Construction UK & Ireland, further strengthening the firm’s leadership team as it continues to deliver major infrastructure projects across the region with a firm focus on sustainable growth.
Effective as of 1st June 2026, Alastair joins Ferrovial from Bechtel, where he has held a number of senior leadership roles, including serving as UK Head of Business Development for Bechtel Infrastructure, leading growth across rail, aviation, power and communications.
Previously, Alastair was Managing Director within Bechtel’s Nuclear, Security and Environmental business, with oversight of Bechtel’s international nuclear and security business across the UK, Australia and the Middle East. His experience spans programme delivery, public‑private partnerships and organisational transformation including leading major international PPP bids and privately financed infrastructure programmes.
In the new role, Alastair will be responsible for the strategic direction and performance of Ferrovial Construction’s UK & Ireland business, leading the delivery of complex transport, energy and environmental infrastructure schemes.
