Ferrovial, a global infrastructure operator and manager of municipal services, has appointed María Dionis as Chief Human Resources Officer; she will also be part of the company's management committee. She replaces Jaime Aguirre de Cárcer who, after 15 years of service, has decided to withdraw from the company's senior management succession plan.
María Dionis joined Ferrovial in 2006 as Manager of Corporate Development and, in April 2010, she became Manager of Human Resources and Communication at Ferrovial Services, a position she has held to date. One of the main projects she implemented was Summa, Ferrovial's Corporate University, which has transformed the company and its professionals' development tracks.
She has a degree in Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master's in Human Resources Management from the University of Maryland. Before joining Ferrovial, she worked at Andersen Consulting, Watson Wyatt, Soluziona and Getronics Iberia.
The company thanks Jaime Aguirre de Cárcer for the advancements he made in talent management and internationalisation at the helm of the Human Resources department. He will work with collaborate with Ferrovial as a consultant.
