For the eighth consecutive year we areis present in the series of FTSE4Good Indices as it is included in the September 2012 review.
We have been selected as a result of our developments in corporate responsibility. The September review of this index includes the entry of twenty-one companies – eleven American, three British, three Australian, two Japanese, one Swiss and one Canadian. Moreover, seven companies have been excluded from the index for failing to meet environmental management standards or human or employment rights.
FTSE4Good inclusion criteria evolve over time according to investor needs; it is a continuous assessment in environmental and social practices checked every six months, between March and September, in order to maintain inclusion in this index. In this latest review the development has been the extension of the consideration of supply chain risk to new sectors.
The series of FTSE4Good Indices, which includes four benchmarks: global, European, U.S. and United Kingdom, is used by investors around the world to assess best practices and social responsibility criteria in order to develop their investment strategies.
