The changes are to strengthen Ferrovial’s Infrastructure division, headed by Juan Béjar
Cintra, the toll road and car park management company, has appointed Juan Béjar as Executive Second Vice-Chairman and Enrique Díaz-Rato Revuelta as CEO.
The changes at the top in Cintra are part of the reorganisation of Ferrovial’s Infrastructure division after the takeover of BAA, the world’s largest airport operator, in order to strengthen the infrastructure concession business, headed by Juan Béjar, which encompasses toll roads and car parks (Cintra) and airports (BAA).
Enrique Díaz-Rato is a Civil Engineer and holds a degree in Business Studies and an MBA from EOI.
Díaz-Rato joined Ferrovial in 2001 as General Manager of Cintra Chile. In 2003, he was appointed General Manager of 407 Express Toll Route (ETR) in Toronto (Canada) and since 2006 has been Head of Toll Roads for the US, Canada, Chile and Ireland.
