Ferrovial-Agromán Internacional will construct the San Giuliano Park in Venice

Ferrovial-Agromán Internacional will be constructing the San Giuliano Park in Venice (Italy). The contract, totaling Pta 1.2 billion, is part of a more than Pta 10 billion project designed by the Italian-American architect Antonio Di Mambro, which will allow the reconstruction of the area which gives access to the Italian city. Work involves preparation and urbanization of 60,000 square meters of land between the airport and the bridge of access to Venice, the emblematic Ponte della Libertà, and will be carried out in 24 months. To this end, the area will be cleaned up, filled with materials and, subsequently, urbanization works will be carried out, including roads, sidewalks, gardens, athletic tracks, bicycle tracks, etc., power and sewer system facilities and construction of a big lake. Ferrovial-Agromán Internacional is currently carrying out projects in Italy for Pta 10 billion; among them, the construction of the Asti Hospital and the refurbishment of the San Giovanni Hospital in Rome. With this last award, Ferrovial-Agromán Internacionals works backlog rises to Pta 100 billion only in foreign markets with revenues in excess of Pta 30 billion this year.
