John Holland Kaye CEO of Heathrow
John Holland-Kaye, currently Heathrow’s Development Director, will become the company’s new Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1 July 2014. As Development Director, John has played a key role in projects contributing to the transformation of the airport. A prime example is the new Terminal 2: The Queen’s Terminal, which will be open to passengers in June. He joined the company as Commercial Director in May 2009, and since then has been member of the Board of Directors. John has been responsible for the improvement of passenger experience, of whom 8 of 10 assess their experience as “Excellent” or “Very good”. John was previously Divisional CEO with Taylor Wimpey PLC, Operations Director at Taylor Woodrow PLC and Divisional Managing Director at Bass Brewers Ltd. Heathrow announced on 1 April that Colin Matthews will be standing down as Chief Executive Officer.
