Glasgow Airport has announced its 30th consecutive month of growth after a whopping 878,515 passengers travelled through the airport during August, an increase of 12.3% compared to this time last year.
The airport enjoyed its busiest summer in seven years with almost three million passengers passing through during the peak summer months.
August was a great month for Glasgow airport, they also unveiled new routes to both Salzburg and Exeter as well as opening their new £3.3 million east pier extension.
September looks to be yet another exciting month for Glasgow airport with new Wizz Air routes to Lublin and Vilinus and the launch of the new Virgin Atlantic route to Las Vegas.
