Budimex Construction works

Budimex, the Polish subsidiary of Ferrovial Agroman, has sealed the contract of the new S5 express road that runs from Poznań to Wrocław. The contract includes the construction of 18.9 kilometers of new road between Wronczyn and Koscian Poludnie, for a total of 291.9 million zlotys.

Budimex is reinforcing its business portfolio in Poland, with a contract that also covers the construction of 22 engineering structures, rest areas and access, the assembly of traffic safety equipment and acoustic screens, lighting and road signaling, and others.

The project will take two years and a half, excluding the winter months.

Other sections of the S5

The company has carried out other work on the S5, such as the construction of the Bojanowo Rawicz beltway of 29.3 kilometers, and the 15-kilometer section between Breslavia y Korzensko. Both contracts are valued at around 160 million euros.
