Íñigo Meirás, Chief Executive Officer of Ferrovial, is listed in the top 10 of Spain’s best CEOs in 2016, according to Forbes. This list, published in the February issue of the magazine, includes major companies listed on the Spanish stock exchange.
According to Forbes, the full ranking of the top 50 CEOs is compiled taking into account reader preferences and other factors such as performance on the stock market, dividend yield, business diversification, acquisitions policy, operating revenue performance, debt management and a comparison with major competitors in the relevant sector.
In the previous edition of the Forbes list, Iñigo Meirás was ranked Best CEO. Moreover, the prestigious Harvard Business Review (HBR) included Meirás in their selection of best CEOs in the world for 2015 and 2016. This ranking of Best-Performing CEOs in the World is based on stock market value, but also takes into account other more qualitative factors such as business financial performance, profitability, reputation and sustainability strategy.
