Poland’s General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways has signed a 12 million euro agreement with FBSerwis, a Polish subsidiary of Ferrovial Services, for the road maintenance of 179 kilometres in the Lubuskie region.
FBSerwis recently signed an agreement with Poland’s General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways to undertake the maintenance of 179 kilometres of roads in Lubuskie province, Zary region. The five-year contract is worth 52.3 million zlotys (around 12 million euro).
The project involves the maintenance of 99 infrastructures, such as bridges, tunnels and footbridges, spanning 39,504 m², in the Zary region. It also includes road surfacing, installation of traffic signage and protection devices, maintenance of bridges and tunnels, sewer cleaning and tree maintenance, as well as road cleaning, snow removal and de-icing.

FBSerwis is in charge of maintaining more than 1,300 kilometers of roads in Poland, including Gdansk province road network and Poland’s A1 motorway and it also provides urban lighting, waste collection and treatment, and industrial and commercial facility maintenance services. It recently acquired 100% of waste management company Trans-Formers Group from Hossanova. FBSerwis reported 178 million zlotys in revenues in 2016 (41 million euros), i.e. 42% more than 2015.
