After an audit carried out by the Bristish Standarts Institute (BSI), Ferrovial Agroman Australia has obtained BIM verification, solidifying the procedures created by the staff at the Australian firm in collaboration with the Innovation Department. The certificate guarantees project management using the BIM methodology under PAS 1192-2.
The team were informed of the news in mid-December, making Australia the second country to obtain such a certification. The certificate is another example of the progress being made in the implementation of the BIM methodology. The methodology is currently being rolled out across all geographical areas where Ferrovial Agroman is present, and is proof of a commitment to innovation in processes and procedures.
The UK, which was the first region to obtain certification in 2016, renewed its accreditation at the beginning of November 2017. During the evaluation process, the auditor highlighted the culture of continuous improvement and the notable incorporation of suggestions recommended in previous audits, and in particular, the training plan established by the company was seen as a highlight.
