Cintra organized a breakfast at its headquarters on 8 May with students from the Master’s Degree program in Civil Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid.
As part of its bid to attract the best talent, Cintra organized a breakfast at its headquarters on 8 May with students from the Master’s Degree program in Civil Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid; a number of the company’s professionals told the students about key issues in the toll roads business and the professional opportunities that Cintra can offer.
The students had the opportunity to chat with the experts and gain a first-hand picture of the advantages offered by the Challenge by Cintra talent program.
Participants in the event included Luis Aguirre de Cárcer, Project Manager, and Miguel Ángel García, a Challenge intern, both working in the Corporate and Business Development Division, who gave a broad overview of the initiatives that this area leads: finding opportunities to bid and preparing bids in partnership with specialized teams.
José Unceta, a Financial Analyst, and Gonzalo Sabater, a Challenge intern, both in the Financial Analysis Division, aroused attendees’ interest in financial models and calculations of optimal returns by describing their day-to-day.
Anna Grassot, a design and construction technician for Europe and New Markets, and María Ampudia, a Challenge intern, both from the Operations Division, described the key activities in the operation and maintenance phase of our assets and reaffirmed Cintra‘s focus on innovation.
To conclude, Maribel Sánchez, Head of Talent, and Álvaro Deleito, a Talent Technician, both from the Human Resources area, told potential candidates about the opportunities for professional development in the Challenge By Cintra talent program, through the experiences they can have by being involved in some of the company’s key projects, as well as the options for mentoring, training and professional development.
