I-77 Mobility partners partnered with Mecklenburg County park and recreation department during a volunteer landscape beautification project.
Thirteen I-77 Mobility Partners team members helped revitalize a portion of Coulwood Park – a public park just west of uptown Charlotte, NC.
Team members shoveled, hauled and spread six dump truck loads of mulch in wooded areas near the park’s main entrance in an effort to not only beautify the grounds, but also to help retain ground moisture and prevent undesirable undergrowth.
Equally as important, it was a great opportunity for individuals within I-77 Mobility Partners to work collaboratively with peers who are normally outside of their daily interactions.
After a full morning of mulch, sweat equity and team work, the landscape was as healthy and strong as the new bonds formed between colleagues.
