As the Northern Beaches Hospital Road Upgrade Project draws to completion, the team have been looking at further ways to support the local community and recently donated the site’s ice machines to the NSW Rural Fire Service in appreciation of their hard work, particularly following the devastating Australian bushfire season.
A local member of the NSW Rural Fire Service was involved throughout various stages of the project and explained how difficult it is to keep supplies cold during extreme fire conditions and was interested in purchasing the ice machines. The team decided to kindly donate them to show their gratitude for their commitment to protecting the community and supporting the delivery of the project.
The project will be issued with a Certificate of Appreciation.
