TEXpress Lanes is proud to support, fund and promote educational excellence within STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) studies.
TEXpress Lanes gave six independent school districts $5,000 each in STEM grants totaling $30,000 in April and May of this year. These include Birdville, Carrolton-Farmers Branch, Hurst-Euless-Bedford, Fort Worth, Keller and Northwest independent school districts.
Over the entire school year, each district uses NTE/LBJ/35W funding for district-wide STEM efforts and individual STEM scholarships. These programs and efforts have a direct impact on over 200,000 elementary, middle and high school students.
The TEXpress Lanes operator has been committed for more than a decade to cultivating teacher and student talent that will serve as the future of the infrastructure industry. NTE/LBJ/35W will continue to highlight the importance of STEM programs and prepare students for an innovative, high-tech work environment.
