With the aim of improving energy efficiency by reducing energy consumed and therefore improving its carbon footprint, the energy recovery system of two of the 11 racks at the Valdelentisco desalination plant has been modified.
With these modifications, the Desalinizadora de Valdelentisco, which is owned by Acuamed and built and operated by Cadagua, will produce 22,800m3 / day from a single high-pressure pump of 2.3 MW of power.
The same modification will soon be made in another 6 racks which will represent a substantial advance for essential infrastructure in the area.
