The Juntos Sumamos (Stronger Together) programme implementing the shared commitment of Ferrovial and its staff to improve the living conditions of socially vulnerable people, is open for new applications for the year 2017. Deadline for submitting proposals is Monday, 16 October at 12.00 noon.
The aim of the programme is to provide support to projects carried out by not-for-profit organisations which are legally established and registered in Spain, focusing on the following:
- International development cooperation, with projects implemented in countries of the global South to combat poverty and exclusion.
- Social projects in Spain, to cover basic needs and support for social and work inclusion within the framework of combatting poverty and exclusion in Spain; social support and/or educational projects aimed at enhancing people’s living conditions.
- Conservation of natural capital and biodiversity, linked to local communities in terms of improving their social, financial and/or cultural situation. Sustainable use of forest, agricultural (including traditional uses) and eco-tourism resources.
