- Alberto Granados, president of Microsoft Spain will be the new president of Forética and, therefore, also president of the Spanish Business Council for Sustainable Development.
- The new Board of Directors will take office on January 1, 2023 for a two-year renewable term.
- ILUNION, CEMEX, Chiesi, Grupo Antolín, Grupo Lactalis, PEFC and SEO/BirdLife complete the new Board of Directors to provide strategic support to Forética.
On Wednesday, November 16, the Board of Directors of Forética approved the renewal of the new presidency and the designation of a new Executive Committee that will provide strategic support to the activity of this leading organization in sustainability and corporate social responsibility in Spain.
The new Committee, headed by Antonio Budia, will be integrated during the period 2023-2024 by: Fernando Riaño (ILUNION) as Vice-President; Cristina Moral (Ferrovial) in charge of the General Secretariat; Carmen Basolas (Chiesi) holding the position of Deputy General Secretary, and Maria José Prado (CEMEX), Treasurer. The new Committee will take office on January 1, 2023.
