407 International Inc. have announced revenues of $1,134.7 million for the year ended December 31, 2016, compared to $1,002.2 million for the same period of 2015.
The Canadian Highway 407 ETR has published its 2016 results, a year in which the data of the previous year has been surpassed not only in terms of the benefits achieved, but also in terms of travel numbers and kilometres travelled.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization ("EBITDA"[1]) totalled $985.0 million for 2016 as compared with $840.0 million for 2015. The Company reported net income of $372.9 million for the third quarter of 2016 as compared with $311.2 million for 2015.
The Board of Directors declared an eligible dividend of $0.268 per common share, payable on or about February 9, 2017 to shareholders of record on February 9, 2017.
In 2016, both the number of trips taken and total vehicle kilometers travelled on Highway 407 ETR was higher than the previous year, and over half of drivers surveyed reported time savings of between 20 and 60 minutes per trip.
