PWC was the company in charge of verifying the 2015 Carbon Footprint for the total of our activity and for all the scopes (1 & 2 & 3).
Ferrovial has developed a proactive behavior regarding the environment. It has been included in the Climate Disclosure Leadership Index and the Climate Performance Leadership Index, both from CDP, achieving the maximum score.
Besides, the Dow Jones Sustainability Index and FTSE4Good have highlighted Ferrovial’s climate strategy and carbon footprint management.

Ferrovial is committed with COP21 goals
The XXI Conference of the Parties (COP21) was held in Paris at the end of 2015 with the aim of reaching an agreement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The conference achieved, for the first time in history, a universal accord on methods to reduce global warming in two degrees Celsius by 2100. In this context, Ferrovial is carrying out measures as the ones mentioned in the Carbon Footprint Inventory to achieve national and international goals, and promoting sustainable development.
