  • DJSI endorses Ferrovial as a sustainable company for the 16th consecutive year.

Ferrovial enters its sixteenth straight year in the  Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI). The company is included in the DJSI Europe and DJSI World indices. Ferrovial is the only Spanish company in its industry to be included in the World and European indices. In this edition, only three companies have been included in the global index of this sector, among which is Ferrovial.

This selection confirms the strength of the company’s environmental, social and economic performance. The company was included in the DJSI for the first time in 2002 and is present in other indexes such as FTSE4Good since 2005 (and its Spanish version, FTSE4Good IBEX since 2008), the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) and the STOXX since 2010 and the MSCI since 2013.

Since its creation in 1999, the family of Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes has become one of the world’s leading benchmarks for sustainable companies. Approximately 2,500 companies form part of the eligible universe for the world index, of which only 10% are selected for the Dow Jones World Sustainability Index after an exhaustive review by consulting firm  RobecoSAM.
