Ferrovial-Agroman Internacional will construct the Asti Hospital in Italy for Pta 7 billion
Ferrovial-Agroman Internacional has been awarded the construction of the
Asti Hospital in the Italian Piamonte. The investment totals Pta 7 billion, with a construction term of four years, and it is the most ambitious project of the Italian health system in order to provide this area of the country with hospital infrastructures.
The project includes the construction of an E-shaped reinforced concrete six storey building two of them, basements -, with a surface of more than 80,000 square meters. The new facilities will have 380 beds and will house surgery, cardiology and psychiatric wards, emergency services, etc.
The hospital construction will be a far-reaching work fitting into a strategy which intends to concentrate the countrys health services, until now scattered in smaller units, in more modern, spacious and better equipped structures.
Finalist in La Fenice
This same week, in
Venice,
Ferrovial-Agroman Internacional has presented an offer to carry out the project and reconstruction of the emblematic
La Fenice Theater.
F&A is the only Spanish finalist and it is bidding together with the Italian construction company
Quadrio Curzio and the Spanish architect
Salvador Pérez Arroyo, due to the high component of architectonic recovery involved in the project.
Pérez Arroyo, recognized in the
Italian architecture circles and with a significant international projection, has been a professor of the Architecture School of
Venice and is now a professor in
Madrid and
London.
Finally,
Ferrovial-Agroman Internacional is also completing the
Desenzano-Simione road in
Italy.
