More than 400 Ferrovial employees and family members across 12 cities joined the race and/or donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, raising $27,356 to date, with one race to go. This marks the first time all Ferrovial U.S. business units have come together to support a single cause and to support St. Jude’s. From a $5 individual donation to a $500 client gift, donations of all amounts poured in for this cause. The company wants to appreciate those employees from across the Atlantic who also donated.
Ferrovial employees participated in races held in Atlanta, Ga.; Austin, Dallas and Houston, Texas; Washington, DC; Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, Fla.; Bakersfield, Calif.; and New York City. The Charlotte, NC, race was rescheduled due to Hurricane Ian. The Walk/Run took place throughout the U.S. on Saturdays, from Sept. 17 to Oct. 1. There the employees walked and ran with their spouses, children, friends, and colleagues in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The St. Jude Ferrovial T-shirts were designed by Webber employee, Marcus Tenette.
This successful fundraiser is the result of a team effort across all of our different business units.
