Ferrovial’s capitalization value ranks it as the sixth company in market capitalization
Ferrovial is one of the largest construction companies in the world, according to the Global Powers of Construction (GPoC) report prepared by Deloitte, which analyzes the state of the global construction industry. The results rank the company among the seven largest companies in the Spanish market.
Ferrovial specifically stands out as the sixth company worldwide, ranked by market capitalization. Furthermore, Ferrovial is the third Spanish company by volume of sales, after Acciona and ACS, and among the top 50 in the world.
This study also provides data on companies’ performance worldwide. The construction groups from China, Europe (especially France and Spain), Japan, the United States, and South Korea stand out. A total of seven Spanish companies appear in Deloitte’s classification, representing 5% of sales and 8% of the market capitalization of the top 100 companies included.
The Global Powers of Construction (GPoC) report analyzes the strategies and performance of the most representative construction groups in 2020 at the international level. As in previous years, groups from China continue to take the top slots.
