Ferrovial has gained external recognition for its human resources policies. Ferrovial is the first Spanish company to receive the “Empresa más igual” equality award from the Madrid Regional Government in recognition of its integration of equality policies as a part of its flexibility policies.
Additionally, at the latest edition of Capital Humano magazine’s Human Resources Awards, Ferrovial received a distinction in the Training and Development category for being a pioneer in its industry by creating the “Ferrovial Summa University” and for establishing a training programme.
Ferrovial, the first company to receive the “Empresa más igual” equality award from Madrid Regional Government
As part of its “Madrid Empresa Flexible” awards, the Madrid Regional Government presented Ferrovial with the “Empresa más Igual” equality distinction. This award recognises the integration of equality policies as a fundamental part of flexibility policies.
Rafael del Pino, Chairman of Ferrovial, was presented with the award by Esperanza Aguirre, President of the Madrid Regional Government, at a ceremony held at Ferrovial headquarters. Aguirre underlined Ferrovial’s commitment to promoting equality in a male-dominated industry.
Capital Humano Award in the Training and Development
Capital Humano magazine recognised Ferrovial initiatives in employee training and development at the 16th edition of its Human Resources Awards.
The jury, in which the main Spanish business schools take part in, considers Ferrovial to be a trailblazer in its industry in view of its creation of “Ferrovial Summa University” and a training programme for the entire chain of command.
