Ferrovial has been awarded this prize by the company AMCS-GMT for its commitment to technology as one of the key elements in environmental management services.
Ferrovial Services Spain has received the GMT Visionary Award from technology provider AMCS-GMT.
The judging panel has highlighted Ferrovial Services’ ability to “align business vision and technological strategy”, recognising the process of transformation brought about by the Treatment and Environmental Management Division in the field of industrial waste, which has had an impact on several aspects of management :
- Standardisation of commercial and logistical processes
- Improvement in services planning, delivery and control
- Commitment to providing added value for clients
This transformation hinges on the use of technology as a key element, especially the use of tools such as Clear, and mobility in services and the customer portal.
Present at the award ceremony, held in Amsterdam as part of The Cleaner Planet Convention, were Javier Vaca de Osma, Technology and Processes Manager, and Mercè Ordoñez, Head of Operational Applications.
