Ferrovial Services to reduce energy consumption in Soto del Real, Madrid, by 80%

Ferroser, a Ferrovial Services subsidiary, will manage Soto del Real’s street lighting system under a 20-year contract. The company will use novel lighting technology and an innovative system to control electricity consumption, maintaining the brightness of the street lighting, while reducing energy consumption by 80%. Soto del Real will be the first city in Spain with an energy system of this kind.
