The company is to build the new AVE station in Medina del Campo, a town in the province of Valladolid, forming part of the High-Speed rail corridor to Galicia.
Adif-High Speed has awarded Ferrovial-Agromán the contract to build the new AVE station in Medina del Campo (Valladolid), forming part of the High-Speed rail corridor that reaches as far as Galicia. The project is to be carried out within a period of five months, and includes all the construction work. The total cost stands at 3.6m Euros.
The construction work for which Ferrovial will be responsible includes building the passenger terminal building, the platforms and their roof awnings as well as access points, building work in the surroundings and parking areas. The station will have four lines and two platforms measuring 400m long.
The project will be co-financed with the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)
