Ferrovial Services has received certification from Forética that its ethical and socially responsible management system complies with the SGE 21 international standard; it received the certificate at an event held at Forética headquarters in Madrid. The audit was conducted by Bureau Veritas. Ferrovial is the first Ibex-35 company to receive this certification, via its subsidiary.
Agustín González Hermosilla, HR Director at Ferrovial Services Spain, received the certificate from Germán Granda, General Manager of Forética.
This certificate acknowledges our corporate social responsibility and contributes to the implementation of the Corporate Responsibility Plan to engage with our stakeholders and fulfill their expectations as a responsible and sustainable company.
Germán Granda highlighted the “growing demand for solutions that guarantee ethical and responsible management, a commitment that Ferrovial Services has confirmed through the SGE 21 standard, which strengthens the company’s social responsibility in its policies and processes, and in setting targets for continuous improvement.”
Ferrovial Services Spain is moving forward in corporate responsibility in the conviction that this contributes to creating a more equitable and inclusive society and to preserving the environment for future generations. To achieve this, the core goals of the Corporate Responsibility Plan are being met: training, social and work integration, and environment.
The company works to improve the living standards of the people around us. Complying with the SGE 21 Standard enables it to go further in continuously improving management of environmental, social and governance impacts. In this way, risks are minimized and the company works to secure its stakeholders’ support and trust.
This SGE 21 standard, created in 2000 by Forética, the leading CSR association for companies and professionals in Spain and Latin America, is a basic tool for integrating social, ethical, environmental and governance aspects in companies’ day-to-day operation.
