This week at the Palace of la Zarzuela, His Majesty King Felipe VI received a delegation from Forética, a leading organization in corporate social responsibility and sustainability made up of presidents, CEOs, board members, and other senior representatives from companies that are promotors in the entity, including Ferrovial.
In his speech, Forética’s President, Raúl Grijalba, expressed gratitude to His Majesty on behalf of the more than 250 partners who make up Forética for recognizing the organization’s work in the same year that it is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
“Those of us at Forética are aware that we are living through a time of unprecedented global transformation in which companies have a leading role in improving the sustainability of the planet, the lives of individuals, and society as a whole”
For the organization’s anniversary, Grijalba emphasized:
“Over these 20 years, Forética has contributed to practical incorporation of social, environmental, and good governance aspects in Spanish businesses, an incorporation that is part of the ethical commitment of them all and an expanded understanding of the purpose of business, which has also been a source of innovation and competitiveness for both companies and the country”
During the audience, the delegation presented the different initiatives that the entity carries out. In attendance were senior representatives from Forética’s business promoters, including our Director of Corporate Social Responsibility, Cristina Moral Zarrabeitia, as well as high-level representatives from Forética’s Board of Directors and the group of individual partners.
