The call for presenting projects at Reto Sevilla Futura (the Future Seville Challenge) will be open until December 1, 2019.
This challenge, organized by Ferrovial and led by the association Sevilla Futura, is looking to increase energy efficiency through solutions based on artificial intelligence for optimal data management.
The call’s goal is to promote new, innovative initiatives that are carried out in the city of Seville. This time, the challenge focuses on energy efficiency solutions.
We are seeking entrepreneurs who can provide an optimal management solution based on artificial intelligence for managing data on energy collected through sensors so that concrete recommendations and actions may be established on advanced analytical data processing.
Ferrovial, in collaboration with Sevilla Futura and the City Council of Seville, opened the call for this challenge on Monday, June 24, for presenting projects, and it will stay open until December 1, 2019, at which time the project with the greatest commercial viability will be determined, with the aim that it can be put into operation within six months.
This collaboration between the City Council, other institutions, and the city’s large innovation companies is one of the objectives of Seville’s 2030 Strategic Plan, and it allows the city to take steps toward a change in the productive model, supporting the creation of talent and entrepreneurship that is linked with innovation.
