Ferrovial is among the companies included in the S&P Global ranking for 2021. The company’s score puts it among the top 5% to 10% highest-performing companies in its sector in terms of sustainability. The agency published its ‘Global Sustainability Yearbook 2021,’ recognizing companies with the highest performance in sustainability and assessing ESG (environmental, social, and good governance) factors.
This edition of the yearbook includes 24 Spanish companies among the 631 global companies chosen by S&P Global, out of 7,032 internationally in all. As such, the company received the bronze medal in the S&P Global yearbook, along with a total of 98 firms from around the world (44 from Europe, 22 from the Asia-Pacific, and 22 from emerging economies).

S&P’s ‘Global Sustainability Yearbook’ is one of the most prestigious publications on analyzing sustainability issues in the business world. In 2021, over 7,000 corporations from 61 different industries worldwide were analyzed.
Dow Jones Sustainability Index
S&P Global also included Ferrovial in its previous edition (2020) in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), which the company has been a part of for 19 consecutive years. In this latest edition, the company is among the top four most sustainable companies in the Construction and Engineering sector.
