Inacua, Ferrovial Services’ brand for the integral management of sports centers, has brought virtual reality to its facilities in Málaga. The Virtual Reality corner will be available in the Málaga centre throughout the months of April and May. The virtual sports initiative consists of a special static bicycle in which the user will experience a new way of cycling by establishing contact with other users and competing with them while travelling different routes around the world.
With this in mind, a competition has been launched in which participants will compete to obtain the best speed on the different virtual tracks. Prizes will be awarded to the top three in each event, as well as to the overall champion of the competition.
The goal of this virtual reality system, known as Superplay, is to provide a more intense, motivating and entertaining experience without leaving the sports centre, as well as bringing fitness to video game lovers. Ferrovial Services has identified this system as a potential tool to improve what’s on offer to users of its Inacua centers.
This initiative has been possible thanks to an agreement with Gymcraft, a German startup focused on fitness.
