After being selected by the Liberty Independent School District to manage $9.5 million of construction work in Liberty, Texas, Webber LLC will begin construction work in May 2018 on multiple projects across the district.
The Ferrovial Agroman subsidiary is set to construct a STEM learning centre, a new transportation centre, and multiple school renovations. The STEM learning centre will provide students at the Liberty Elementary School with 10,000 square feet more learning space to work specifically on projects in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
The transportation centre will consist of a bus maintenance building that will include office space and room for parts storage as well as additional bus parking, a fueling station and bus wash for the district.
Facilities in three other schools in the district will also be upgraded, such as parking light pole replacement, tennis court surfacing, walkway covers and roofing. The schools include San Jacinto Elementary School, Liberty Elementary School and Liberty High School.
The construction will take place over the next 14 months with project completion expected by June 2019.
