Ferrovial has been recognized as one of the world’s leading environmental companies by the prestigious organization CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project). For the 15th consecutive year, the company once again topped the ranking of the companies most committed to combating climate change. It has also been included in the ‘A List’ for water management for the second consecutive year.
Ferrovial is one of the few companies to achieve the highest rating (A) in the climate change and water categories, according to the assessment of more than 24,000 companies around the world carried out by CDP in 2024.
This evidences Ferrovial’s transparency and its efforts to reduce its carbon footprint and mitigate the effects of climate change. It also recognizes the company’s commitment to the proper use of water in its operations so as to mitigate the planet’s water stress and avoid further contamination of this resource.
CDP is a global environmental non-profit organization whose annual survey and assessment process is internationally recognized as the gold standard for corporate environmental transparency. It uses a proprietary, independent methodology to evaluate companies on their responsibility, management of environmental risks, and leadership actions in this area.
