Bruno Di Leo, who has had an extensive international career in the technology and innovation industry, has accepted an appointment as an independent director of Ferrovial. The Board of Directors appointed him by cooptation on 26 July based on a proposal by the Appointments and Remuneration Committee.
Bruno Di Leo, a Peruvian national, holds a degree in Business Administration and a postgraduate qualification from Escuela Superior de Administración de Negocios in Lima (Peru); he spent his entire career at IBM, from which he retired last June as Senior Vicepresident of IBM Corporation.
Over his 40-year career, he held executive positions in a multinational environment on four continents. He joined IBM in Peru in 1975, and subsequently served as Senior Vice President, Global Markets; General Manager for Growth Markets; General Manager for Global Technology Services in Southwest Europe; General Manager Northeast Europe; General Manager for IBM Latin America; and General Manager for IBM Brazil.
At present, he is a director of US engine manufacturer Cummins, Inc. He is a member of the International Advisory Board of Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa (IESE) in Spain, and of the Deming Center Advisory Board of Columbia Business School in the United States.
