Carlos Cerezo (Madrid, 1975) has been appointed Chief Human Resources Officer of Ferrovial, with a seat on the company’s management committee. He replaces María Dionis, who has held the position since 2015.

Carlos Cerezo joined Ferrovial in 2006 and has been Human Resources and Communication Director of Ferrovial Services since 2015. He was previously Corporate Director of HR and Corporate Development. Carlos has a degree in Philosophy from the Complutense University of Madrid, a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from CEU, and an Executive MBA from IE Business School.

Before joining Ferrovial Services, he held positions of responsibility in the human resources consulting field at IBM and PwC.

“I am convinced that Carlos Cerezo will bring to this appointment the rigor and commitment he has shown throughout his career at Ferrovial, and I am sure he will be able to count on our full support in his new position,” said Ignacio Madridejos, CEO of Ferrovial.

“I would like to thank María Dionis for her contribution to talent management during her 14 years with the company, and I wish her every success in her future endeavors,” added Madridejos.
