Barcelona, 13 June 2005. Cespa, the urban services subsidiary of construction and services group Ferrovial, has decided to centralise its offices at a single location at Avenida Catedral 6-8, in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona. Cespa will occupy a total of 1,600 square metres distributed on the first and second floors, which have been refurbished and interconnected.
The Avenida Catedral 6-8 building is located near Barcelona Cathedral, near the regional and city government buildings, and can draw on the numerous services available in Barcelona”s old quarter. The company´s head office was previously located at Gran Vía de las Corts Catalanas 657.
Cespa is one of Spain´s leading urban services companies (street cleaning, municipal solid waste collection and treatment, and gardening) and its principal industrial waste management company.
The company currently provides services to 786 municipalities in Spain, with a combined population of over 5 million, and it maintains nearly 30 million square metres of green areas.
